— Our Engagements
Three engagements, each
designed for a specific purpose
Whether you need a full chain review, a supplier relationship examination, or focused guidance on a single logistics decision — there is an engagement sized to fit.
← Back to Home— Our Methodology
How we approach each engagement
All three engagements share a common foundation: we begin by reading and listening rather than presenting. We spend the early stage of any engagement understanding how your organisation actually operates — what the formal structure says versus what teams on the ground experience day to day.
We then document, synthesise, and return our observations in a form that is useful for decision-making — not a list of theoretical recommendations, but a grounded account of what we observed and what it might mean for the questions you are working through.
Listen First
Internal conversations before any assumptions are formed.
Observe Carefully
Field observation and targeted follow-up to complete the picture.
Document Clearly
Written maps, reports, and summaries in plain, usable language.
Discuss Together
A shared conversation at the end, not just delivery of a report.
Engagement 01
Supply Chain Mapping Review
A careful documentation of how goods, information, and decisions actually move through your supply chain, carried out through conversations with each link in the chain rather than through assumption. We spend time with procurement, operations, logistics, and customer-facing teams, building a shared map of the whole journey.
Voyage sketch ——
Week 1–2: Kick-off calls + Internal team interviews
Week 3–4: Observation visits + Chain drafting
Week 5–6: Report compilation + Map finalisation
Week 7–8: Narrative report delivery + Leadership conversation
Deliverables
- Visual supply chain maps — full chain and individual segment views
- Narrative report on observed flow, friction points, and decision gaps
- Leadership conversation on which stretches may benefit from attention
- Margin notes section with practical field observations
Best suited for
Manufacturers, importers, and distributors who feel their supply chain has grown complex and would benefit from clear documentation of current conditions.
Engagement 02
Supplier Relationship Review
A considered examination of your current supplier arrangements, approached with respect for the relationships already in place. We speak with internal colleagues who interact most closely with suppliers, review contracts and recent performance, and hold short confidential conversations with a small number of supplier representatives where appropriate.
Voyage sketch ——
Week 1: Internal team interviews
Week 2–3: Contract and performance review
Week 3–5: Supplier conversations (where appropriate)
Week 5–7: Written review + Relationship health summary + Delivery
Deliverables
- Written review of supplier arrangements, contracts, and performance
- Relationship health summary with contextual observations
- Practical suggestions for structuring ongoing supplier conversations
- Confidentiality agreement covering all parties
Best suited for
Organisations where supplier relationships have grown over time and a structured, outside-eye review of those arrangements would be useful — particularly ahead of contract renewals or when friction has begun to appear.
Engagement 03
Logistics Planning Session
A focused engagement for operations or logistics leaders navigating a specific planning question: a new route, a storage arrangement, or a carrier review. Before the session we read the relevant materials you provide and gather any additional context through a short call. The planning session itself, lasting three hours, is structured around the specific decision at hand.
Voyage sketch ——
Before: Materials shared → Briefing call (45 min)
Session day: Three-hour structured planning session
After: Written summary of discussion and options (within 5 days)
Deliverables
- Three-hour structured planning session with your team
- Written summary of all points discussed and options considered
- Decision-framing document setting out the key considerations
Best suited for
Operations and logistics teams facing a specific, contained decision — a route change, a new carrier, a warehouse arrangement — who would benefit from a structured outside perspective on that decision without committing to a wider engagement.

— Shared Standards
Standards that apply to every engagement
Confidentiality
Mutual NDAs signed before each engagement. Information shared with us stays within the engagement.
Written Deliverables
Every engagement concludes with written outputs — not presentations or verbal debriefs only.
Defined Timeline
Engagement timelines are agreed before work begins and adhered to unless scope changes are mutually agreed.
Respect for Relationships
Internal and supplier relationships are treated with care throughout. We do not create disruption in service of data-gathering.
Fixed Fees
Fees are fixed and disclosed before any engagement begins. No additions arise without prior discussion and agreement.
Vendor Independence
We hold no commercial relationships with software vendors or logistics providers — our observations are independent by design.
— Take the first step
Tell us what you are working through
A preliminary conversation helps us understand your situation and advise on whether one of our engagements is a suitable fit. There is no commitment involved.
